Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian warned during a meeting with his French counterpart Catherine Colonna of the repercussions of continued "war crimes" in Gaza, while the commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards sent a letter to the commander of the Qassam Brigades stressing that they will not allow Israel to achieve its goals.

Abdollahian said in a post on the X platform that he held "frank and significant" talks on Thursday with the French foreign minister on developments in Palestine, and stressed the need to stop the "genocide" in Gaza and complete a prisoner exchange deal between the resistance and Israel and the delivery of aid.

Colonna said after meeting her Iranian counterpart in Geneva that the meeting "was a warning that the expansion of the current conflict in Gaza will not benefit anyone, and Iran will bear great responsibility."

Since the war on Gaza began, Iran has repeatedly warned that continued "genocide" will lead to a wider war in the region, and Abdollahian stressed that the United States "will not be spared from these fires."

Qaani's Message

Meanwhile, IRGC Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani sent a letter to the commander of the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Mohammed Deif, in which he stressed that "your brothers in the axis of resistance are united with you," and that they will not allow the enemy and those behind him to single out Gaza and its people and achieve its dirty goals, as he put it.

Qaani said that Palestine and the region will not be after the battle of the Al-Aqsa flood - launched by the Palestinian resistance on the seventh of last October / October - as they were before it.

Qaani said Iran would do what needed in this "historic battle" (Reuters)

He added that as part of what he called Iran's continued effective protection and support for the resistance, it will do everything it must in this historic battle, according to the letter.

Qaani said that the strikes directed by the resistance to the Israeli occupation forces and armored vehicles proved to everyone the weakness and fragility of the Zionist entity, as he put it.

Hamas had denied what was published by Reuters about a meeting between the head of the movement's political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, and Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran on the sixth of November.

Reuters quoted sources that the Iranian leader told Haniyeh during their meeting that Hamas did not inform Iran of the attack on Israel on the seventh of last October, and therefore Tehran will not enter the war, but will support it politically and morally.
