"Just yesterday there were clarifications from the Federal Customs Service regarding the import of cars to individuals for personal use. The requirements were tightened there, because many companies were engaged in importing cars to straw men, mainly through Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, and then selling them to individuals without paying a recycling fee, apparently, this process was taken under control," he said.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office took control of the collection of recycling fees from imported vehicles.

It is noted that this was done in connection with numerous appeals from citizens about emerging problematic situations.
