As the head of the region, Mikhail Degtyarev, noted, the ancestors of the Far East "were attracted by gold and furs, fish and the mysterious ocean."

He invited the guests of the exhibition to local factories, and also invited them to enjoy the amazing nature.

"We invite those who are attracted by Far Eastern tourism: flights to us have become more affordable, and this is an occasion to see the little-known ancient rock paintings of mammoths on basalt boulders - the petroglyphs of Sikachi-Alyan, they are older than the Egyptian pyramids, as well as the Shantar Islands and our region - the homeland of bowhead whales," the governor said.

On November 4, the opening of the exhibition and forum "Russia" took place at VDNKh in Moscow. It will last 161 days, until April 12, 2024. The exhibition presents more than 130 expositions and 13 excursion routes with more than 500 excursions daily.
