Irish member of the European Parliament, Claire Daly, condemned the Israeli war on Gaza and the massacres committed by the occupation in the Strip, while another member of the European Parliament described what is happening in Gaza as war crimes.

Dali said in an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera that the current war on Gaza is a new Nakba, noting that she made that description two weeks ago in a speech to the European Parliament, and that everything she saw at the time proves that it is so.

The MP stressed that the international community has somehow abandoned Gaza and abandoned Palestine, although this is not the will of the people who demonstrate in the millions in Europe, the United States and the Arab world to demand an end to this massacre.

Daly added that the suffering of Gazan children being slaughtered by Israel's massacres cannot be forgotten, and that she never expected — despite being a politician and political activist for 40 years — to see such a "shocking." As she put it.

It is very clear that the Israeli authorities are never concerned about the lives of detained Israelis, and that they ignore efforts to release these prisoners, including those of the State of Qatar.

War crimes

European Parliament member Miguel Orban Crespo condemned the Israeli war on Gaza as war crimes.

He said it could even be said that what happened in Gaza in the last 15 years also constituted war crimes.

"Israel's far-right government has angrily and mercilessly attacked the people of Gaza, cutting them off water, food and means of communication, in collective punishment, which constitutes a war crime under international law," Cresbo said.

He stressed that Israel allows itself to commit these crimes with impunity, due to the complicity of the United States of America and the European Union.

Cresbo called for severing ties, banning arms exports to Israel, and pressuring it not only to stop the aggression on Gaza and the West Bank, but also to end 75 years of occupation.
