One of Israel's ministers was asked in a radio interview whether a nuclear bomb should be dropped on the Palestinian Gaza Strip, and he said, "It's an option," and criticism has been raised from within Israel.

The speaker was Amihai Eliyahu, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage from Israel's far-right political party "Jewish Power", who has joined the Netanyahu government.

According to Israeli media, Mr. Eliyahu appeared on a Jewish ultra-Orthodox radio station on the 5th, saying, "We are not going to provide humanitarian aid to the Nazis, because there is no one in the Gaza Strip who is not involved in Hamas."

In response to this, the host of the radio program asked, "If so, do you think that a nuclear bomb should be used?" and he said, "That's one of the options."

Furthermore, when the moderator asked, "Is there more than 240 hostages taken in the Gaza Strip?" he said, "I hope for their return, but war comes at a price."

The remarks were also reported by Israeli media, and Prime Minister Netanyahu criticized that "Mr. Eliyahu's remarks are far from reality, and the Israeli military adheres to the strictest standards of international law so as not to harm innocent people."

On top of that, we have taken measures to prevent Mr. Eliyahu from attending Cabinet meetings for the time being.
