The government media office in the Gaza Strip said that the Israeli occupation army began implementing its threat against the hospitals of the besieged strip, explaining that all Israeli raids - last hours - targeted the vicinity of hospitals.

The media office refuted the claims of the occupation regarding Gaza hospitals, stressing that they provide medical services only, expressing readiness to receive a UN committee to verify the conditions of hospitals.

The same source said that the occupation adopted falsification and broadcast fabricated images to promote its claims about Gaza hospitals.

"The occupation has been preventing us for three days from removing the wounded from the Gaza Strip," he said, noting that Israeli forces are pursuing a policy of siege and starvation with the Gaza Strip.

"We place the responsibility for protecting hospitals, especially Shifa Hospital, on international bodies, including the United Nations," the office said.

The Israeli violations against the health sector in Gaza have caused the death of more than 150 health workers, the destruction of 27 ambulances, in addition to the outage of 16 hospitals and 32 primary health care centers.

Israel continued to bomb the perimeter and gates of Gaza's hospitals, with the aim of forcing medical staff to leave their patients and leave hospitals.

Israel also consistently promotes and claims that the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) runs infrastructure and tunnels under hospitals.

In response to the accusations, the Israeli association Physicians for Human Rights said that even if this information were true, "it does not justify the bombing of thousands of innocent patients and displaced people in hospitals."

Dozens of doctors in Israel signed a petition calling on the security services and the army to bomb hospitals in Gaza. Those who confuse hospitals with terrorism must understand that hospitals are not a safe place for them, and terrorism must be fought everywhere and in every way, they said.
