TheNational Police arrested lawyer Cándido Conde Pumpido Varela, son of the president of the Constitutional Court, for participating in an alleged group sexual assault on a Brazilian prostitute committed last Friday in a villa in Madrid. Two other friends of the lawyer, a Spaniard and a Venezuelan, have also been arrested. All three were taken into custody today. The lawyer and his acquaintances have denied the allegations.
The case is being investigated by UFAM agents from the Madrid Police Headquarters. The victim left a villa in San Blas last Friday and went to the police to report that she had been raped by three men.
