Khalil al-Hayya, a member of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that the Israeli occupation has thwarted an agreement to release civilian and foreign detainees, and at the same time warned of a major Israeli massacre being prepared for it.
Khalil al-Haya added, speaking to Al Jazeera, "We were on the verge of an agreement to release civilian and foreign detainees, but the occupation evased and returned to square one," and explained that the occupation uses this file maliciously, despicable and immoral to prolong the war and calm Israeli public opinion.
He stressed that the movement's orientation is clear in the file of prisoners detained in Gaza through their release in exchange for Palestinian women and children, but the occupation puts obstacles in an attempt to evade and is not harmed by the periodic declaration of resistance to the killing of an additional number of detained prisoners.
Lies and pretexts
He pointed out that the occupation uses a torrent of lies as a pretext to prolong the period of its killing of the people of Gaza, indicating that it resorts to destruction with the aim of displacing the Palestinian people from their land by displacing the residents of the northern Gaza Strip to the south and then abroad at a later stage.
He expressed confidence that the Palestinian people will fail the displacement plans in the company of all free people, adding, "We are rooted in our homeland."

He said that the US administration has given the green light to the occupation, and stressed that it is morally, politically and humanely responsible for all crimes and does not say to him clearly, "Enough killing and blood."
