The British website "Middle East Eye" published a report in which he talked about the abuse, humiliation and torture of thousands of Palestinian workers for about 4 weeks in Israel, after their arrest following the attack led by the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" on the seventh of October.

It is estimated that there were about 4500,<> Gaza workers in Israel when hundreds of Palestinian militants stormed Israeli settlements near the besieged enclave, the report said, highlighting that although they were in Israel on work permits, all of them were arrested, insulted and repeatedly abused.

The report quoted the workers as saying their work permits had been revoked and they were returned to Gaza on foot for six kilometers until they arrived through the Kerem Shalom crossing near the city of Rafah in the southern enclave, where Israel commits daily massacres.

Death on the road

The report quoted one worker as saying, "When we were released and had to return to Gaza, one of us died." Another worker, from Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, said, "He fell dead while walking."

"They treated us like dogs, interrogated us while we were in Tel Aviv. We had our hands tied behind our backs, and we barely got some food or drink."

"Young boys the same age as my children stripped us naked and urinated on us.

Miriam Marmour, director of an Israeli rights group, said the information they received about the workers' arrests was "deeply troubling."

"We have no way of knowing how many people are unlawfully detained in Israeli detention centers because Israel has refused to disclose the names and whereabouts of the people it is holding," Marmor said.

25 Days of Torture

Marmor said the workers were being held at facilities at Israeli military bases in the occupied West Bank.

The report indicated that humanitarian workers were denied access to detention facilities to assess conditions.

One of the detainees told Al Jazeera: "We were abused for 25 days, and between 5,6 and <>,<> people were detained."

According to the Middle East Eye report, many workers reported being constantly threatened when asked questions about Hamas.

Some were severely beaten while asking questions about the movement, while one stated, "It was clear that we don't know anything, we are just workers."

Another added: "We were tortured, and no one had mercy on us. They took our money and clothes, and left us naked for three days while we were tortured. We were hungry, they kicked us, they punched us, they stepped on our heads, and even now I'm in pain."

Do not communicate

According to the report, the workers asserted that the Israeli authorities did not allow them to access their phones or make calls to their families, leaving many worried about the safety of their loved ones under constant bombardment.

One man told local media: "We hopefully go back and find our children and families safe and alive."

Israeli groups shared videos of Palestinian workers in the West Bank being tortured and humiliated by Israeli soldiers on messaging apps.

Palestinian men appeared in one of the videos blindfolded and handcuffed with cables assaulted by heavily armed forces. The men, some of whom have been completely stripped naked, can be heard screaming as they lay on the ground.

He said soldiers dragged some workers to the ground, while an Israeli soldier stepped on the head of a detainee and his colleagues were heard laughing in the background.
