The Israeli occupation cut off communications and the Internet again, from the Gaza Strip - on Wednesday - amid the continuation of indiscriminate shelling for the 26th consecutive day, after the return of communications last Sunday after being disconnected for about two days.

The Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced that all communications were cut off at dawn today due to the exposure of the international routes that had previously been reconnected to disconnect again.

Dear people in the beloved homeland,

We regret the announcement of a complete interruption of all telecommunications and internet services with the Gaza Strip, due to the exposure of international routes that were previously reconnected to disconnect again.

May God protect you and protect our country

The interruption of communications threatens relief and ambulance work in the Gaza Strip, which is subjected to Israeli aggression and attempts at a military ground operation, and isolates more than two million Palestinians in the besieged enclave from the world and from their relatives inside the Strip.

At the time, UN groups accused Israel of cutting off communications from Gaza to conceal war crimes committed there.

Israel controls the telecommunications sector in Palestine, the cables connecting the occupied West Bank to Gaza, and international cables, the cutting not as a result of the bombing of the cables, but deliberately by the occupation.

Billionaire Elon Musk said after the Gaza communications were cut off last Friday that he would provide internationally recognized aid organizations with satellite internet service from Starlink.

Tel Aviv said it would use all means to prevent Musk from providing Gaza with the Internet, under the pretext that Hamas would use this for its activities.
