According to the organizers, the exchange conference co-sponsored by the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the People's Government of Tong'an District of Xiamen City is based on the main line of "good seeds, good laws, and good products", and experts and scholars, entrepreneurs and other people from all walks of life on both sides of the strait fully exchange and discuss the results of experience, innovative applications, etc., guide the strong cooperation between seed and seedling enterprises on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, promote joint breeding and commercial breeding, support cooperation with Taiwan universities and scientific research institutions to carry out seed and seedling scientific research and germplasm resource bank construction, and create a new highland for the cross-strait seed and seedling industry.
The exchange conference set up five exhibition areas, including the improved seed brand exhibition area, the modern agricultural technology exhibition area, the modern agricultural machinery exhibition and sales area, the modern agricultural service exhibition and sales area and the high-quality vegetable and fruit exhibition area, attracting more than 5 well-known fruit and vegetable seeds and seedlings, high-quality fruits and vegetables, agricultural facilities and equipment, modern agriculture and other enterprises to participate in the exhibition, and carry out in-depth cross-strait agricultural exchanges.
At the event site, there are also supporting activities such as balcony gardening display, visit to the demonstration base, and theme forum. During the meeting, the organizer arranged interesting seed and seedling park exhibitions, Nanyang Style Street, Zhuba Returned Overseas Chinese Historical Museum, Italian Workshop and other special exhibition halls for guests to visit and experience.
At the opening ceremony held on the 27th, the Seed Industry Center of Xiamen Tong'an Fujian-Taiwan Agricultural Integration Development Industrial Park was officially unveiled, becoming an important industrial carrier of Xiamen Tong'an Fujian-Taiwan Agricultural Integration Development (Seed and Seedling) Industrial Park.
At the exchange conference, the Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Tong'an District Government signed a scientific and technological cooperation agreement to promote rural revitalization; Bank of Xiamen Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xiamen Tong'an Fujian-Taiwan Agricultural Integration Industrial Park, which will provide financial support for enterprises, Taiwan-funded enterprises and self-employed Taiwan compatriots in the park.
The relevant person in charge of the Tong'an District Party Committee said that among the more than 2000 million Taiwan compatriots, there are as many as 200 million Tong'an compatriots, and nearly <> Taiwan compatriots have taken root and developed in the Fujian-Taiwan Industrial Park all year round; Tong'an is also the administrative district with the largest rural area and the largest proportion of agriculture in Xiamen. The exchange conference was held in Tong'an to help enterprises innovate and continue to inject impetus into the development of Tong'an's agricultural technology.
Su Zijiu, a young entrepreneur from Taiwan and head of Aifuka Seedlings (Xiamen) Co., Ltd., said that the climate in Xiamen is the same as that in Taiwan, which is very suitable for avocado seedlings. Tong'an seedling industry has formed an agglomeration, which is beneficial to making the seedling industry bigger and stronger, and is conducive to Taiwan's young people to start a business.
Zeng Mingbao, technical director of Xiamen Baili Co., Ltd., said that Fujian and Taiwan complement each other's agricultural advantages, and this exchange activity provides a good platform for cross-strait agricultural technology exchanges and agricultural product sales. (ENDS)
