Representatives of 66 countries and international organizations participated in a meeting in the Mediterranean island nation of Malta to discuss a peace plan proposed by Ukraine with Russia, and confirmed that they would strengthen cooperation in areas such as nuclear and radiation safety and food security.

This is the third meeting to discuss Ukraine's peace plan with Russia, following June and August.

Representatives of 6 countries and international organizations, including the G8 = seven major countries and emerging countries, participated in the consultation, which was held in the Mediterranean island nation of Malta from the 3th, more than the previous two meetings.

However, China, Egypt in the Middle East, UAE = United Arab Emirates, etc., who participated last time, were absent.

At the consultation on the 28th, President Zelensky sent a message, stating that "the 'peace formula' that we advocate should and can be universal," and asked for support for the 7-point peace plan proposed by Ukraine.

The 7-point peace plan includes the full withdrawal of Russian troops, and during the talks, the two leaders confirmed that they would strengthen cooperation in five areas where countries are likely to agree, such as nuclear and radiation safety and food security.

On the 2th, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Yermak, held individual meetings with representatives of each country and is believed to be appealing for continued support for Ukraine.
