Al-Jazeera showed moving testimonies of survivors of the Israeli bombardment of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip last night expressing their anger and indignation at the catastrophe that befell them and the Arabs who left them alone.

Israeli shelling targeted an entire residential block in the camp, killing and wounding dozens of its residents.

One woman expressed her anger, saying she had come from Jabalia camp on the grounds that she would find refuge and shelter in Nuseirat camp, but that Israeli shelling followed her to the camp.

The angry woman could not hide her disappointment in the Arab leaders, to whom she spoke, saying, "Who is the enemy of the Arabs, America and Israel, or the defenseless Palestinians?"

"How many times have they abandoned us, in 1948, in 1967, in 2001 and in 2023. Why this injustice when Arabs are sleeping in a deep sleep in the arms of Americans? Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best trustee. What will you say to your Lord the day you stand in His hands? What have you done for the children, free people and women of Palestine?"

Another man, holding two children in his arms pulled out of the rubble, recounted how the house fell on them and all members of his family of 50, saying that all their belongings were sacrificed for the resistance.

Another survivor said they were sleeping when the shelling hit his house, which had 30 people in it, and his wife and daughter were martyred and he remained alive, as was the case for the rest of the survivors of the bombing of Nuseirat camp.
