Jordan on Sunday denied - for the second time - using its military bases to transport supplies from the US military to Israel, which is waging an aggression on Gaza that has killed more than 8,<> Palestinians.

This came in a statement by the Jordanian army through a military source who described him as responsible.

"There is no truth to what is published on some social media sites about the use of Royal Jordanian Air Force bases by US aircraft that provide the Israeli army with equipment and ammunition to be used in bombing operations on the Gaza Strip," the source said.

He added that the dissemination and circulation of such rumors aims to affect Jordan's firm position towards the Palestinian cause and the reputation of the armed forces.

Destabilization of security

The Jordanian statement called for these rumors not to circulate "due to their objectives aimed at destabilizing national security and stability, influencing the state's efforts to cease fire and deliver humanitarian aid."

He pointed out that the Armed Forces Hospital is still receiving the wounded and injured in the Gaza Strip, despite all the challenges and difficulties, in addition to flying Royal Air Force aircraft, to deliver humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza Strip.

Jordan had previously denied the same rumors in a military statement on October 10.
