The newspaper "Izvestia" writes about this with reference to the Federal Antimonopoly Service.

According to the agency, the decision was made due to the fact that the actions of the operators contained signs of violation of antitrust legislation.

As explained in the FAS, by charging for the distribution of Internet traffic, the companies imposed unfavorable terms of the contract for the provision of communication services on subscribers.

At the same time, it is noted that MTS stated that its actions did not infringe on the interests of subscribers.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated 632 million rubles for the development of equipment for mobile communication stations.

It was also reported that the FAS opened a case against MegaFon due to an unreasonable increase in tariffs.
