Turkey in the Middle East celebrated its 100th anniversary, and celebrations were held in various places. In his speech, President Erdogan vowed to further develop the country and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian Gaza Strip, which is under heavy attack by Israeli forces.

In Turkey 100 years ago, as the Ottoman Empire declined and its territory was divided among Western powers, the army led by Ataturk defeated each country and declared the founding of Turkey.

On the 100th, the 29th anniversary of the founding of the country, celebrations were held in various places, and many people gathered at the quay overlooking the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, the largest city of the country, and took pictures of Turkish Navy warships passing through the strait.

A 19-year-old woman who visited with her friends said, "We all got together to celebrate the anniversary, and I hope that the economy, which has deteriorated due to the Corona disaster, will be restored soon."

Turkey's neighbors are facing a series of conflicts, including Russia's invasion of Ukraine and armed clashes between Israel and Hamas, the Islamic organization that effectively controls the Gaza Strip.

In his speech, President Erdoğan pledged to further develop the country and reiterated his solidarity with Palestine, saying, "It is Turkey that rushes to the oppressed to help them and heal their pain."
