The UN human rights expert group warned on Thursday that there is a risk of genocide against the Palestinians given the statements of Israeli leaders and their allies.

The experts added that the Israeli campaign in Gaza leads to crimes against humanity, and that the bombing of the Baptist Hospital came after two warnings issued by Israel.

"We are appalled by the inaction of the international community in the face of the promotion of war," the experts said, stressing that it was time for an immediate ceasefire and the safety of Gaza's civilian population must be guaranteed.

They also said that the blockade of Gaza and the orders for the forced eviction and transfer of residents violated international criminal law, stressing the need to end the occupation and provide compensation and reconstruction to achieve justice for Palestinians.

Israel continues to launch intensive raids on the Gaza Strip, leaving thousands of civilians dead and wounded, and cutting off the supply of water, electricity, food and medicines, prompting local and international warnings of a double humanitarian catastrophe, in parallel with intensive Israeli raids and arrests in cities and towns in the occupied West Bank.

The continuous Israeli bombardment of Gaza has so far left 3785,12 dead and more than <>,<> wounded, the majority of them children and women.
