During his visit to North Korea, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed a sense of caution that the United States, and the Republic of Korea are strengthening cooperative relations over the situation on the Korean Peninsula Japan, and emphasized Russia's intention to cooperate with China and North Korea to counter the situation.

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on the 19th that Foreign Minister Lavrov, who is visiting North Korea, concluded his official schedule and held a press conference.

Regarding the situation on the Korean Peninsula, Lavrov said, "I am seriously concerned about the U.S. policy of the United States, Japan, and South Korea increasing their military activities and transferring strategic infrastructure, including nuclear weapons."

It seems that the remark was made with the US military dispatching a B52 strategic bomber capable of carrying nuclear weapons to South Korea.

Foreign Minister Lavrov warned of these moves as "unconstructive, dangerous and unacceptable," and emphasized Russia's intention to work with China and North Korea to counter the three countries that are strengthening cooperative relations.

Russia is making efforts to strengthen relations between China and North Korea, including President Putin's meeting with President Xi Jinping in Beijing, China, on June 3, and Foreign Minister Lavrov's meeting with North Korean General Secretary Kim Jong-un.
