The leaders of Pakistan, Malaysia and Indonesia called for an end to Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, stressing the importance of opening humanitarian crossings for Palestinian relief.

Pakistani President Arif Alvi called on the Security Council to adopt a resolution to stop "Israeli brutality in Palestine".

The Pakistani presidency said in a statement on Thursday that Alvi paid a solidarity visit to the Palestinian embassy in Islamabad.

In a statement during the visit, Alawi said it was essential for the Security Council to examine the injustice in Palestine and adopt a resolution that would stop "Israeli brutality."

He warned that "barbaric Israeli operations" could lead to more wars, stressing the importance of the OIC showing more support for Palestine.

He strongly condemned the brutal killing of the Palestinian people, adding that the bombing of the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza had resulted in more pain.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim warned against the displacement of Palestinians from their land, saying it could trigger a third world war.

During the launch of a national solidarity campaign with the Palestinian people, Anwar stressed that his country will spare no diplomatic effort to stop the massacre of civilians in Gaza.

He also announced Malaysia's provision of $20 million in emergency aid, pledging to work to deliver it to the affected Palestinian people in Gaza.

Israeli Terrorism

In the same context, former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad attacked US President Joe Biden for exonerating Israel of the crime of bombing the Baptist Hospital and killing hundreds of civilians.

Mahathir said in a video that the US president's lie was reminiscent of the US lying about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction to justify the invasion of that country in 2003.

He described the United States as a sponsor of Israeli terrorism since the establishment of the occupying power, and said that without Washington's open support for Israel and the supply of weapons, it would not have committed the ongoing massacres of Palestinians.

Indonesia strongly condemned the ongoing violence in Gaza and strongly condemned the Israeli attack on the Baptist Hospital, saying it was clearly a violation of international humanitarian law.

Indonesia made it clear that it will not remain silent in the face of the civilian casualties and injustice to which the Palestinian people are subjected, saying that it along with the OIC countries sends a strong message to the world that it is necessary to stop the escalation and violence, and to focus on the humanitarian aspects and resolve the roots of the crisis represented by the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

Since October 7, Israel has continued to launch intensive raids on Gaza, leaving thousands of civilians dead and injured, and cutting off the supply of water, electricity, food and medicines, prompting local and international warnings of a double humanitarian catastrophe, in parallel with intensive Israeli raids and arrests in cities and towns in the occupied West Bank.
