After artillery shelling, mines are the ones that kill the most people in the war in Ukraine. SVT has met with a Swedish specialist officer who is in Ukraine voluntarily to train about mine clearance.

"Ukraine has very good engineers, but their task is extremely difficult and they take extreme losses while they do it," explains "Dalle" from Sweden.

Among other things, Ukrainians receive information about the type of mines they may encounter and how they are defused. There are both those that are laid out by hand and those that are ejected from the air.

"Dalle" shows, among other things, SVT's team one like mine with four thin threads that run out to the sides.

"It only takes very little pressure on that wire and it will burst.
