At today's meeting of the region's Health and Medical Care Committee, the decision was not only made to save 10% on administration. Work is also continuing to reduce costs in the healthcare itself, with several proposals that will now become more concrete.

One of the proposals is to reduce the costs of locum physicians by SEK 50 million per year, from the current more than SEK 186 million per year.

A task that will be tough, including in primary care, where some health centres stand or fall with locum doctors.

Start the clip to hear Jonas Claesson, Director of Health and Medical Services in Region Örebro County, on how to reduce the costs of locum doctors.
