The US president came to Israel in solidarity with it, and apparently succeeded in persuading Tel Aviv to allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. For their part, a number of American Jews protested and carried out an open-ended sit-in to denounce the massacres committed by Israel against Palestinian citizens in the Strip.

Shabakat (2023/10/19) continued the activists' reaction to Biden's announcement that Israel would allow aid to enter Gaza, where activist Heba commented: "Gaza does not need aid now. I need shrouds, Muslims."

For his part, Abu Saleh saw it from a different angle: "Not out of mercy or love for the people of Gaza, but to cover up what they did yesterday in the hospital in order to forget people," referring to the Israeli shelling that targeted the Baptist Hospital and resulted in the death of more than 500 Palestinians.

As for Ahmed, he was surprised by the idea of asking Israel's permission to bring in aid, and said: "I don't understand what it means, what do we mean that we are enlightened by Israel's permission to bring aid to the people of Gaza, who have been under bombardment from Israel for 13 days?! I don't understand the idea itself, I mean, eh."

Adham Abu Salmiya pointed out that the number of trucks that will bring in the aid will not meet the needs of the people of Gaza, saying, "The number of trucks waiting to enter Gaza is about 150, but they will only allow 20 of them to enter. This means that the United States has decided to starve Gaza and its people, 20 trucks, what can they do, fuel, medicine, lunch or what!"

Jews against the massacres of Israel

In the context of denouncing the war on Gaza, Jewish Voice for Peace organized a demonstration during which more than 500 people stormed the Cannon House building inside Capitol Hill, expressing their opposition to the war on Gaza, and calling on lawmakers and the Biden administration to press for a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Hassan said in a tweet: "After the media pressure to clarify the reality of what is happening in Gaza, the Jews were divided and many of them became strongly rejecting what Israel is doing and what Netanyahu is doing."

While Saif explained the difference between a Jew and a Zionist and wrote: "Not every Jew is a Zionist", in many Jews from time rejecting what happens to the Palestinians from the displacement and killing of children and the demolition of their homes, and it happened that they participated before that in demonstrations with the Palestinians against the occupation forces and began to harass them and hold on to them a little and imprisoned.

Yousef also commented: "Western citizens, despite their governments' warnings to them, go out to stand with the Palestinian cause, demonstrations in London, Canada and Germany, calls in America to stand with the people of Palestine and there are Jews, who came out in Israel against Netanyahu."

Abu Ghaleb tweeted: "Pro-Palestine demonstrations are all over the world: Muslims, Christians, Jews, and of all religions. The international popular tide and world public opinion have torpedoed all Israeli lies."

It is noteworthy that the Capitol Police evacuated the place of the demonstrators and said: "Demonstrations are not allowed inside the Capitol buildings, and we warned the demonstrators to stop demonstrating, and when they did not comply, we began to arrest them."
