It was on July 19 that a man attacked a person at an address in central Orsa. He allegedly tried to kill him by stabbing the person's head and torso with a sword. The victim suffered lacerations and pain in his neck, wrist and fractures in one hand.
Forensic psychiatric care
The man admits that he delivered a blow with the sword but says that he did not intend to deprive the plaintiff's life. According to the verdict, the men were neighbors.
The sanction will be forensic psychiatric care with a special discharge review and he must pay damages, just over SEK 400,000, Mora District Court announces.
