The Swedish Transport Analysis Agency has compiled how punctual train traffic was in Jämtland in 2022. In that statistic you can read that 4337 trains were planned to run to Jämtland, of which 50.4 percent were delayed and 138 trains were cancelled or simply did not reach their destination.

Hundreds of hours of total delay

On average, each train was delayed by nine minutes and passengers to Jämtland suffered a total of 638 hours of delays.

Best punctuality in southern Sweden

Jämtland is one of four counties where less than half of the trains arrived on time. The county with the lowest proportion of trains on time is Dalarna, where 38 per cent arrived on time at their final destination. The best punctuality was in Blekinge County, where 78.5 percent arrived on time.

On average, 62.3 percent of trains arrived at their final destinations on time.
