"But what it is doing now is Moldova's direct preparation for an armed conflict with Russia. All this fits into the global strategy of the decrepit hegemon – to multiply chaos and instability in order to maintain its control over the world," the expert is convinced.

He also noted that declaring Russia as the main threat to Moldova and fixing the strategic partnership with NATO members is not just a rejection of neutrality, but also an attempt to provide legal grounds for military actions against Russian peacekeepers.

Former president of the republic, head of the opposition Party of Socialists Igor Dodon also claims that the current government of Moldova has embarked on a course of militarization and deepening partnership with NATO.

As Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted, the West considers Moldova to be the next Ukraine.
