Al-Jazeera camera monitored a large number of children injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' shelling of the Gaza Strip, during an attempt to rescue them by medical teams, in light of the acute lack of necessary capabilities.

The video showed dozens of children arriving at a hospital after successive targeting of homes and residential towers in the cities and camps of the Gaza Strip, while doctors and paramedics were trying to help their wounds.

Most of the injuries were in the head, face and limbs, while the Al Jazeera correspondent monitored cases of amputation of the hands and feet of a number of children as a result of their injuries in the Israeli raids, in light of a state of panic and crying, and the participation of other children in transporting the injured to hospitals.

According to Al Jazeera, a number of these injured children arrived at hospitals without their parents who died as martyrs in the Israeli bombardment.

Earlier on Thursday, the Red Cross warned that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip would "quickly spiral out of control" under concentrated Israeli bombardment, while the United Nations said the humanitarian situation in Gaza was unspeakable and unprecedented.

The number of victims of the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip until Thursday afternoon, 1417 martyrs, including about 500 children and 250 women, while the number of injured reached 6268, including 1531 children and 932 women.
