The office of British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, said on Thursday that London will send two Royal Navy ships and helicopters and surveillance to Israel, amid continued US military support for it, and Germany's provision of two drones, following the operation "Al-Aqsa Flood", launched by the Palestinian resistance last Saturday.

Britain will begin surveillance and reconnaissance flights over Israel, to show the UK's military support for Tel Aviv, and to reassure it and promote regional stability.

This comes after the US aircraft carrier "Gerald Ford" arrived in the eastern Mediterranean, to be ready to help Israel in the war it launched, after it was subjected to the surprise operation of the Palestinian resistance movement (Hamas).

Unconditional aid

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Aston said today that the US military does not place conditions on its security assistance and weapons provided to Israel, nor on how they are used.

The United States has sent air defenses and ammunition to Israel to help it fight Hamas and said it was ready to deploy a second aircraft carrier in the eastern Mediterranean to deter regional parties from engaging in Israel's war on Gaza.

The Wall Street Journal quoted the Pentagon as saying that a squadron of A-10s arrived at the Al Dhafra base in the UAE to support Israel and deter any attacks.

The White House also reported that they share intelligence with Israel, at the highest level.

Washington has repeatedly affirmed its full support for Israel and its support for it in the war with what it needs militarily and security, through the words of US President Joe Biden and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

German marches

For its part, Germany provided two Heron drones to Israel under the pretext of defending itself, at the request of the Israeli government.

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said on Thursday they were discussing with the Israelis preliminary requests for ammunition for warships.
