North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who held a summit meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at a space station in the Far East, is expected to visit a fighter jet manufacturing plant in the Khabarovsk region as early as June 15 to explore the possibility of military cooperation with Russia.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un continues to travel by private train after holding a summit meeting with President Putin at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Amur Oblast in Russia's Far East on the 13th.

According to the people involved, General Secretary Kim is expected to visit the Russian Air Force's fighter jet manufacturing plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in the Khabarovsk Territory of the Far East as early as June 15.

Following the in-depth exchange of views with President Putin on military-technical cooperation, it is expected that the possibility of cooperation will be explored.

Kim is then expected to head to Vladivostok, the capital of the Far East, to visit the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet.

Putin has indicated to General Secretary Kim that he intends to show some of the capabilities of the Pacific Fleet, and local media have reported that Defense Minister Shoigu may accompany him.

Defense Minister Shoigu said on April 4 that he was "discussing" joint military exercises by three countries, including China and North Korea, and it seems that Russia wants to strengthen military cooperation with North Korea as the confrontation with the West deepens.
