This statement was made by Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the world organization Maria Zabolotskaya.
According to her, after the last meeting, the "practice of obsessive attention" to Russian representatives coming to the UN by the US intelligence services was continued.
"The United States is consistently putting pressure on the Permanent Mission of Russia and, in general, hindering the participation of our country in the work of the world organization," TASS quoted Zabolotskaya as saying.
Earlier, the Russian Embassy said that US intelligence agencies are using provocations to recruit Russian diplomats.
There was also information that the Pentagon would study "methods of influence" on Russian-speaking Internet users.
