She drew attention to the words of the head of the press service of the State Department, Matthew Miller, that at the moment "there are no peace talks with Russia, since Moscow refused to participate in the dialogue on peace."
Zakharova recalled that the American authorities themselves ordered Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to stop negotiations in April last year.
"They themselves initiated the Kyiv regime's ban on peace talks with Russia in September 2022, they themselves have repeatedly stated for a year that this is not the time for negotiations, but they still blame Russia," the diplomat said in a statement.
Earlier, Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, spoke out against any peace negotiations with Russia and ceasefire scenarios.
