This statement was made by the Deputy Spokesman for the Secretary General of the world organization, Farhan Haq, during a briefing.
"The only thing we can say is that we welcome all diplomatic initiatives regarding this crisis," Haq said, reports TASS.
According to him, despite the fact that the parties did not support the final document on the results of the meeting, they expressed their desire to continue to seek a solution to the Ukrainian conflict. The UN also supports such an outcome.
Earlier it was reported that on August 5, consultations on Ukraine began in Saudi Arabia, in which representatives of 30 countries participated.
