Fuzhou, August 8 (Ye Qiuyun) On August 7, the 8th Cross-Strait College Student Physical Construction Competition, the "China Construction Strait Cup" of the 6th Strait Youth Festival series of activities, officially kicked off on the shore of Olive Lake in Xiongjiang Town, Minqing County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province.

Since its launch in 2014, the "China Construction Strait Cup" Cross-Strait College Student Physical Construction Competition has been held for ten consecutive sessions. As an important part of the series of activities of the Straits Youth Festival, the competition has become a well-known brand building activity on both sides of the Straits, providing a stage for young students on both sides of the Straits to exchange ideas, exchange skills and display their style.
With the theme of "Meta-Construction", the participating teams focus on the link between virtual imagination and real life, present the latest design concepts, and promote the construction of a better future life in the countryside.

In this beautiful landscape, 15 teams from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, including Taipei University of Science and Technology, Anhui Jianzhu University, Chongqing University, Dalian University of Technology, Fujian University of Technology, and Fuzhou University, have been engaged in intense competitions. They will complete the physical construction of the design work using wood, bamboo and other materials within three days, and the professional judges will conduct the final review.
At nightfall, a unique friendship party was held in the auditorium of Xiongjiang Town, Minqing County. With the opening of the dance "Elephant King Xing", 15 finalist teams were officially unveiled. Chen Yu'an, a student from Taiwan Union University, and Duan Junshan, a student from Chongqing University, spoke on behalf of the contestants from both sides of the strait and shared their experience of participating in the competition.

The organizer said that this sorority meeting not only eased the tension of the students in the final schedule, but also enhanced the friendship between students on both sides of the strait, and cheered for the smooth development of the subsequent competition.
