It was around 16 pm that police and emergency services were alerted to the scene, where a passenger car and police car collided.
"The police there were on their way to a high-priority case. Because of the accident, we had to send another patrol to handle the case, says Richard Lundqvist, press spokesperson at the police.
The injury status of those involved in the accident is unclear.
Investigating crimes
Some unit from the police remains at the scene for further investigations. They will now investigate whether any crime has been committed in connection with the accident.
The police have the right to call for a clear road, but at the same time they must exercise caution. The police will therefore also investigate whether the patrol itself has been driving recklessly in connection with the accident.
