A 55-year-old man has been stabbed in the neck in the central Plaza de Tirso de Molina, as reported by Emergencias Madrid. The event, which took place around 17:15 p.m. on Monday between numbers 2 and 3 of the square, occurs just a month after another murder in the vicinity.
The victim, wounded with a large kitchen knife, has been transferred to the Clinical Hospital. His condition has been rated as not serious, despite the seriousness of the injury.
In rapid response, a patrol of the Municipal Police belonging to the police station of Centro Sur has arrested the alleged perpetrator of the attack. At the same time, another police indicator has found the knife hidden in a bin in the nearby Calle Cabezas, number 3.
