According to the Hungarian minister, Novak assured him that the Russian side intends to continue oil supplies to the republic in accordance with its obligations.

"Today we had a telephone conversation with Russian Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Alexander Novak, who assured us that Russian partners will supply crude oil to Hungary in accordance with their contractual obligations, so the energy supply of our country remains safe," Szijjarto was quoted as saying by TASS.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Tamas Mentzer previously noted that Hungary is threatened with a halt in industry and a lack of heating in apartments without a long-term contract with Gazprom.
