Thomas Tuchel's Munich side will face RB Leipzig at home in their Allianz Arena on Saturday (20:45) for the German Super Cup while Monaco will travel to Clermont on Sunday (15:00) for the first matchday of Ligue 1.

In front of more than 10,000 spectators at the Sportpark of Unterhaching, the Munich dominated the proceedings, even if it was the Japanese Takumi Minamino who opened the scoring for Monaco shortly before the half hour of play (1-0).

Defensive midfielder Konrad Laimer, who arrived in the summer, equalized in the wake (1-1, 32nd), before Jamal Musiala, elusive in the first half, gave the advantage ten minutes later (2-1). Just before the break, Serge Gnabry converted a penalty for Bayern (3-1).

In the second half, Monaco captain Wissam Ben Yedder reduced the score on penalty kicks in the 62nd minute (3-2). But Leroy Sané gave Bayern a two-goal lead in the 68th minute, served by Kingsley Coman (4-2).

For this last test of the summer preparation, Tuchel lined up Benjamin Pavard in central defense alongside South Korean recruit Kim Min-jae in the first half, then Matthijs De Ligt in the second half. In goal, Sven Ulreich was named while Yann Sommer is in Milan to pass his medical at Inter, according to German and Italian media.
