Storm Hans has caused power outages, fires and flooded basements in large parts of the country.

Sunday was the thunderiest day since 2019. Then there were almost 30,000 discharges one day at the end of August.

But it's not over yet. The storm will move north on Monday and the next few days.

– During the night to Tuesday and Tuesday, thunderstorms will occur over Norrland, locally also in Värmland and elsewhere in Svealand, says SVT's meteorologist Pia Hultgren.

Large parts of the country have a yellow warning for the next four days. But Västra Götaland, Värmland, Jönköping and Örebro counties could be hit by so much rain on Tuesday and Wednesday that a red warning has been issued. SMHI warns of flows that "occur on average every 50 years".
