"The advance was 11 km along the front": the Ministry of Defense reported an improvement in the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk direction

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the improvement of the positions of Russian troops in the Kupyansk direction in the areas of the settlements of Olshany and Pershotravneve (Kharkiv region).

"Over the past three days, the advance of Russian troops in this direction amounted to 11 km along the front and more than 3 km in the depth of the enemy's defenses," said the official representative of the department, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.

Along with this, in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka (Kharkiv region), Novoselovskoye and Stelmakhovka (LPR), 12 counterattacks of units of the 14th, 32nd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were successfully repelled.

Aviation and artillery hit concentrations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Kupyansk, Kotlyarovka and Berestove (Kharkiv region).

The enemy lost up to 110 troops, two armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, a US-made M777 artillery system, and a US-made AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radar.

As Konashenkov noted, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued unsuccessful attempts at offensive operations in a number of areas of the NWO during the day.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, thanks to the skillful actions of Russian troops, air and artillery strikes, three enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Uspenivka and Rabotino (Zaporizhzhia region). In the area of Novoselovka (Zaporozhye region), the activities of the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group were suppressed. In addition, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in the areas of the settlements of Yablunevoe and Novodanilovka (Zaporozhye region).

According to the Ministry of Defense, up to 80 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three armored combat vehicles, four vehicles, and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed in this sector per day.

In the Donetsk direction, units of the "South" group, in close cooperation with aviation and artillery, successfully repelled the attack of the assault groups of the 81st Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Bilohorivka (DPR).

Along with this, concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in the areas of Bogdanovka, Vesyoly, Kleshcheevka, Maryinka and Krasnogorovka (DPR) were hit. The enemy lost up to 135 troops, two tanks, six infantry fighting vehicles, three vehicles, a US-made M777 artillery system, as well as Msta-B and D-30 howitzers.

In the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction, airstrikes, artillery and units of the Vostok group of forces repelled an attack by enemy assault groups in the area of Urozhayne (DPR).

Also, army aviation attacked five concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 31st mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Staromayorsky (DPR).

In total, the enemy lost more than 225 servicemen, three tanks, four armored combat vehicles, two vehicles, and a D-30 howitzer in this sector.

In the Krasnoliman direction, thanks to the coordinated actions of the units of the Center group, artillery strikes and heavy flamethrower systems, the attack of the assault groups of the 42nd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the Serebryansky forestry was successfully repelled.

In addition, complex fire damage was inflicted on concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in the areas of the settlements of Raigorodka, Petrovskoye, Ploshchanka and Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR). As a result, more than 65 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, as well as a D-30 howitzer were destroyed.

In the Kherson direction, up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen, three cars, as well as two D-30 howitzers were destroyed during the day.

The work of aviation, missile forces and artillery

Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated 107 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 126 districts.

According to the Ministry of Defense, three ammunition depots of the 117th Territorial Defense Brigade, the 14th and 43rd Mechanized Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the areas of Seredyna-Buda (Sumy region), Cherneshchyna and Sinkivka (Kharkiv region). In addition, in the area of the settlement of Yampil (DPR), the command post of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit.

Air defense systems intercepted nine Storm Shadow cruise missiles and four HIMARS missiles during the day. In addition to this, 14 Ukrainian drones were destroyed.
