The Ukrainian Navy said it was the result of violating Ukraine's prior warnings to ships heading to Russian and other ports in the Black Sea in connection with reports that a Russian landing ship was attacked by Ukrainian drones.

At the naval base in Novorossiysk, southern Russia, near Crimea, which Russia unilaterally annexed from Ukraine, a Russian landing ship was reportedly damaged by a Ukrainian drone attack on April 4.

Ukrainian Navy spokesman Pletenchuk held an online press conference on the 7th regarding this attack.

He pointed out that the landing ship was attacked in violation of a warning issued in July by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense that all ships heading to Russian ports or Ukrainian ports temporarily occupied by Russia in the Black Sea were deemed to be carrying military supplies.

The involvement of the Ukrainian Navy was denied.

He also expressed the view that Russia is increasing its vigilance regarding the situation in the Kerch Strait, which connects the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, as the movement of Russian border guard vessels is becoming more active.

On the other hand, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mallar posted on social media on the 7th about the situation in eastern Ukraine over the past week, "It has been extremely difficult, and the enemy is taking all possible measures to stop our advance," and revealed that the number of shelling from the Russian side has increased significantly.
