Zelensky responded by inviting Wallace to write to him and tell him how Kyiv should thank the West

"I don't understand the question. We have always been thankful and always thankful. I just don't know how else we have to give thanks. We can wake up in the morning and thank the minister. Let him write to me how to thank, and I will thank you," Zelensky was quoted as saying by STRANA.ua.

In the video, which was published by the Ukrainian media, Zelensky turns to Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and asks him to thank Wallace. Reznikov then utters words of gratitude.

Zelensky also instructed the minister to call his British counterpart "today."

Earlier, Ben Wallace expressed the opinion that the Kiev authorities should be more grateful for the military supplies of Western countries.

During the briefing, he recalled that he had received a list of desired weapons from Kiev, to which he replied to the Ukrainian authorities: "You know, we are not Amazon."
