The daughter of the former governor of the Penza region, Natalia Bochkareva, died in Moscow. This is reported by the media with reference to emergency services.

As it became known, the woman's body was found in her apartment in Trekhgorny Lane in the Presnensky district of the city on July 11. The concierge of the apartment building turned to the operational services and said that Bochkareva did not open the door of the apartment, and the day before she complained of feeling unwell.

To open the room, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. When they entered the apartment, its owner was already dead. Natalia Bochkareva was 44 years old.

The exact cause of death will be determined by the examination. According to preliminary data, it is not criminal in nature, no traces of violent death were found on the body of the deceased.

Presumably, the woman died due to acute heart failure.

Natalia Bochkareva was the only child of Vasily Bochkarev, who served as governor of the Penza region from 1998 to 2015. In 2016, he passed away after a long illness.

Natalia was born and raised in Penza, graduated from the Faculty of Law of Penza State University.

Penza publications, remembering Natalia, write that in the early 2000s she led a secular lifestyle and was friends with Nikolai Baskov, did not miss any of his concerts at the Penza Drama Theater. Some city publications then suggested that Baskov's famous song "Natalie" was dedicated to Bochkareva.

According to open sources, Natalia was engaged in business and owned shares in family companies. So, according to some media reports, the woman was the founder of 31 organizations in Penza, including the position of general director of an advertising agency. She also owned two shopping centers in the city and headed a limited liability company, which owns shares in various Penza factories, including large bakeries and timber processing enterprises.

Became a victim of scammers

In 2019, Natalia came to Penza for the opening of the exhibition in honor of the 70th anniversary of her father's birth and shared her memories. According to her, her father was strict and demanding.

"Vasily Kuzmich was strict as a father. I always wanted him to praise me as a girl, and he: "Natasha, it's bad here, it's bad here and it's bad here." He always expected a feedback from me so that I would start doing something. And I still remember all his advice, even if they were presented in the wrong form - a loving father who protects his daughter, but just like that - strictly, confidently, harshly, "she said.

She also noted that her father was seriously ill, but despite this, he did his job effectively.

"17 years of his leadership of the Penza region - of which he had 17 years of cancer, maybe even more. Imagine how a person who has cancer gets up, goes to work, "lights up" people, creates something, manages well, develops the region. How beautiful the city of Penza has become! This is what kind of strength is needed, "she said.

In 2021, Bochkareva's name was mentioned in the media in connection with several scandalous stories.

So, in one of them it was reported that Natalia was deceived by scammers for 16 million rubles. According to journalists, the woman gave the money to a fortune teller who promised her to remove the damage and improve her personal life. For several months, Bochkareva regularly transferred large sums to the fraudster for "working with the aura" and otherworldly forces that allegedly attacked the woman. In addition, she gave her jewelry and expensive watches. Natalia went to the police when the fortune teller once again demanded a large sum.
