Budanov stressed that he knows the content of the speeches of the summit participants, as he allegedly saw drafts of speeches.

Earlier, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that Ukraine needs to carry out reforms in order to join NATO, as well as meet the standards of the North Atlantic Alliance.

On June 16, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the alliance had begun to create a Ukraine-NATO council, in which the republic would be on a par with members of the alliance.

Later it became known that the first meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council will be held on July 12.
