Nine attacks were successfully repelled: the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the destruction of up to 290 Ukrainian servicemen in the Donetsk direction

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that over the past day, Russian troops continued to repel attempts to attack the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), in particular in the Donetsk, Krasnoliman, South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions.

According to the official representative of the defense department, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, in the Donetsk direction, thanks to the actions of the defending units of the "South" group, nine enemy attacks were successfully repelled per day in the areas of the following settlements of the DPR: Belogorovka, Pervomaiskoye, Severnoye, Nevelskoye and Krasnogorovka. Along with this, three concentrations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in the Artyomovsk region.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, up to 290 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, five cars, three pickup trucks, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount, two D-30 howitzers and one Msta-B were destroyed in this sector during the day.

In addition to this, a field ammunition depot of the 109th Territorial Defense Brigade was destroyed in the area of Nevelskoye (DPR).

In the Krasnoliman direction, thanks to the actions of the Center group, as well as the work of aviation, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems, two attacks by assault groups of the 63rd and 66th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled in the area of the settlements of Makiivka and Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR).

In addition, in the area of the settlements of Yampolovka, Torskoye, Grigorovka (DPR), Kuzmino and Chervonopopovka (LPR), manpower and equipment of the 21st, 42nd, 63rd mechanized and 95th airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit. In addition to this, in the area of Serebryanka and Torskoye (DPR), the activities of two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were suppressed.

During the day, the enemy lost over 90 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, one tank, three armored combat vehicles, three pickup trucks, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery mount, an Acacia self-propelled howitzer, and two D-30 howitzers in this direction.

In the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction, the Vostok group of troops, supported by artillery and heavy flamethrower systems, repelled five attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine with forces up to a motorized infantry company in the direction of the settlements of Staromayorskoye and Urozhayne (DPR).

In the area of the settlements of Makarovka (DPR) and Priyutnoye (Zaporozhye region), concentrations of enemy manpower were hit, and in the area of Vuhledar (DPR), a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group was destroyed.

During the day, an attack by units of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was repelled in the Zaporizhzhia direction in the area of the settlement of Zherebyanka (Zaporizhzhia region). In the area of the settlements of Preobrazhenka and Malaya Tokmachka (Zaporozhye region), air strikes hit accumulations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, in the area of the settlements of Lugovskoye, Marfopol and Mirne (Zaporozhye region), the activities of three Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were suppressed.

In total, the enemy lost over 300 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two infantry fighting vehicles, two armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, two Msta-B howitzers, two D-20 howitzers, two Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mounts, as well as Krab self-propelled guns in these areas during the day.

In the Kupyansk direction, aviation and artillery of the Zapad group hit the manpower and equipment of units of the 14th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlements of Novomlynsk, Dvurechna, Sinkivka and Timkovka (Kharkiv region). Up to 20 Ukrainian soldiers, an armored personnel carrier and two cars were destroyed. In the area of Golubovka (Kharkov region), a US-made AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radar was destroyed.

In the Kherson direction, up to 60 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, four vehicles, three US-made M777 artillery systems, two Bukovel electronic warfare stations, as well as a drone control center were destroyed during the day.

The work of aviation, missile forces and artillery

Aviation, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit 79 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 109 districts during the day.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, ammunition depots and military-technical property of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the area of the settlements of Druzhkovka and Maksimovka (DPR). In addition, in the area of Razdolovka (DPR), the command post of the 115th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit.

During the day, air defense systems intercepted six HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and destroyed six Ukrainian drones.
