An important week awaits Sweden's NATO application. Upcoming meetings with both the US President and Turkey's Foreign Minister could be crucial for joining the military alliance.
"The hope is that before or during the meeting in Vilnius we will be able to confirm that Sweden will become a NATO member," said Ulf Kristersson ahead of his meeting with the US president.
