• Cinema Alain Delon announces his assisted suicide

Alain Delon's children have denounced the actor's "lady-in-waiting" and caregiver, a 60-year-old Japanese woman named Hiromi Rolin, for moral harassment and misappropriation of correspondence, his lawyer, Christophe Ayela, told Agence France Presse on Wednesday. "I suspect that there has been an abuse of weakness and I have the investigation to prove it," added the lawyer, who has specified that the actor, 87, has joined the complaint through a written statement.

The lawyer of Anthony, Anouchka and Alain-Fabien Delon, the three children of the iconic French actor, says through a statement that after Delon's "cardiovascular accident" in 2019, the woman, who settled in his house, "has been increasingly aggressive, degrading and insulting with him and his children. " "He has continued to isolate him from those close to him, his friends and family, using manoeuvres and threats. It systematically monitors your phone conversations and private messages. He vouches for him, posing as him, tries to intercept his postal mail. He prevents his children from visiting him regularly, as they have always done. She is authoritarian, threatening and even unacceptably mistreats [the actor's] dog," the statement said.

The complaint was filed on Wednesday by the actor's three children in the court of Montargis, in the department of Loiret, where Delon owns a property in Douchy. The eldest son, Anthony Delon, has also filed a second complaint against his father's caregiver for "violence and kidnapping of a vulnerable person, abuse of weakness and moral harassment", facts that occur, he says, for a year and a half.

"On January 31, 2022, I made the decision to start notifying and reporting facts that were developing in our family circle and that more specifically concerned the relationship between my father and his lady-in-waiting," Anthony said in a statement sent to the French agency. According to his son, the situation in two years has reached "such proportions" that his father has written to his caregiver to leave his residence in Douchy.

The news of the complaint has been known a day after it came to light that the actor has put on sale all his assets, valued at 275 million dollars.

Sacred monster of cinema, with films such as The Leopard, The Pool or The Samurai, Alain Delon practically disappeared from the big screen at the end of the 90s. He reappeared on the Cannes red carpet in 2019 to receive an honorary Palme d'Or.
