"He is non-confrontational - calm, kind": in Perm, a circus trainer fell into a coma after a visit by private security company employees

In Perm, they are looking for an employee of a private security company, who, presumably, caused serious injuries to the trainer of the Great Moscow Circus Igor Korchagin. The incident occurred on the night of July 3 in the dormitory of the Russian State Circus - employees of the private security company were called there, who, according to the general director of the Great Moscow Circus Edgard Zapashny, attacked the artists.

"For an unknown reason, employees of the private security company were summoned to the dormitory and at about 23:00 the rapid response team that arrived at the hotel of the Perm Circus staged a real gangster showdown using pepper spray, batons and traumatic pistols," Zapashny wrote in his Telegram channel.

After the incident, the trainer Igor Korchagin, who was seriously injured, was urgently hospitalized. Now the man is in a coma. Upon admission to the medical facility, he was diagnosed with a severe brain contusion, hematomas, a fracture of the base of the skull and occipital bone, as well as cerebral edema.

Edgard Zapashny contacted the governor of the Perm Territory, Dmitry Makhonin, who assured that he was keeping the situation under personal control. The Russian State Circus also sent a delegation to Perm "for further proceedings and to provide comprehensive assistance to the victim."

The police department for the Perm Territory told RT that a criminal case was opened on the fact of what happened in the house of the Sputnik artist under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm"). Now the police are looking for someone involved in the crime.

A video appeared on the social network in which eyewitnesses captured employees of the Jaguar and Cerberus private security companies, who were in the dormitory of the Russian State Circus on the night of July 3. One of them, presumably, injured Igor Korchagin. Now the police are looking for the man.

The dormitory under the contract is served by the private security company "Opora". As RT found out, on the night of the incident in the house of the artist "Sputnik", employees of the private security companies "Cerberus" and "Jaguar" also came there. RT companies reported that the police had already come to them to take explanations.

"There was a signal of a mass brawl"

As the representative of the private security company "Cerberus" Vyacheslav Yuzhakov told RT, employees of security companies often go to each other on calls as reinforcements - this happened on the night of July 3. According to him, the private security company "Cerberus" is not involved in the beating of artists.

"Two crews went there, there was just a signal about a mass brawl. Our groups drove up there. Those who were closer, everyone gathered. They (private security company "Opora". - RT) are our competitors, but the objects are distributed among themselves, and there is still mutual assistance in case of mass conflicts, "the RT interlocutor explained.

According to him, the employees who arrived at the scene saw that there was no "mass brawl", but a "local conflict" was taking place. After that, representatives of Cerberus left the building, Yuzhakov claims.

"Local conflicts do not concern us in this case. Accordingly, our employees left the place - this was already done by the organization that guards this building, questions to them. Our help was not required. The police came, took explanations from the officers. But there are no questions for us, "said a representative of the Cerberus private security company.

The private security company "Opora" put forward its version of what happened. Its representatives told the portal perm.kp.ru that on the night of the incident they attacked the chop members themselves.

"When the guys arrived, they were attacked, and they even had to run to the basement. A mass brawl broke out there. After this incident, our fighters were forced to go to a medical facility, and there they recorded the injuries they received. The person who is now in a coma was injured not by the employees of the State Bureau of Investigation, but by the guests themselves, "insists Andrei Shansherov, deputy director of the Opora group of security companies.

The director of the private security company "Jaguar" Eduard Perevozchikov, in an interview with RT, noted that his group arrived at the scene after the fight. He also assured that the guests of the hostel themselves showed aggression.

"The coverage of this event is a little one-sided - they say, security companies have united and lawlessness went there and beat them. According to my guys, some team in a drunken state - more than 10-15 people - was making noise. The administrator of the hostel called a group of the company that protects them, "the director of the Jaguar private security company told his version.

"The Opora group arrived there in the amount of two people. Comrades brawlers beat them, pushed them into some basement, and, they say, they did not beat them with their bare hands. Therefore, the group closed in some room and called another group as part of the support, "Perevozchikov explained.

He added that he does not justify the person who caused serious injuries to Igor Korchagin, and considers the incident a tragedy, but stressed that the moment of the beating did not get on camera and it is impossible to say who exactly inflicted bodily harm on the artist.

"The video shows only part of the fight, local. It is not shown who came when, how the participants in the fight behaved, who provoked whom, and so on. A sad combination of circumstances happened - a man was hit, he fell, hit his head. These are the consequences of the events that occurred initially, "said the interlocutor of RT.

An acquaintance of the injured trainer, Nikulin's circus artist Veniamin Igumnov, in a comment to RT, told another version of what happened in Perm. According to him, the employees of private security companies who arrived at the call confused the floors and came to the wrong people against whom the complaint was originally received.

"I know that the outfit of the private security company was called because of a violation of the law on silence, and they mixed it up - instead of the 4th floor, they came to Igor on the 3rd, and then it is not entirely clear what happened, but in any case, beating a person who does not show aggression in the temple with a truncheon is too much," Igumnov said.

A friend of Igor Korchagin, Leonid Olkhovikov, told RT that the injured artist was never prone to aggression.
