Telge Energi's CEO, Niklas Holberg, cannot say whether any guarantees have been given that employees will remain or if they will continue to be in Södertälje. But at the same time, he says that there are no signs of major changes now that Fortum has bought the company.

"I do not want to comment on Fortum's long-term plans for the company. But I have not received any indications other than that we will remain in Södertälje, says Niklas Holberg.

It was on Monday evening that the city council finally decided that the electricity company Telge energi should be sold. Only the Left Party was against the sale.

Now the company's brand, assets, and its employees, including CEO Niklas Holberg, become part of the international company Fortum.
