In her Telegram channel, Zakharova said that the Western media are now trying to convince that Graham's statement was allegedly taken out of context and edited by the Ukrainian authorities.

"But we have not heard a word of any condemnation against the Kiev regime," she said.

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that if Senator Graham himself believes that his words were taken out of context, then he can use his phone to record a short video with his statement.

"And only then will we all know what really happened," Zakharova said.

Earlier, a video appeared on the network in which Graham, during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, says that Russians are "dying", and the United States has never spent money so successfully providing assistance to Ukraine.

According to Reuters, Kiev edited the video, giving the impression that the phrases were spoken together.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called a cynical attempt to justify the cannibalistic statements of Lindsey Graham.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia put the US senator on the wanted list.
