The weather will remain cold and gray this Tuesday, across the country, forecasts Météo-France.

Corsica is expected to have unstable skies throughout the day, with frequent showers.

More broadly, the wind should be present around the Mediterranean rim.

On the temperature side, frosts will remain widespread in the interior of the country but the mildness will be in force in Brittany.

The cold and gray weather will continue tomorrow Tuesday throughout the country, forecasts Météo-France.

In Corsica, unstable weather will remain throughout the day, the sky will be overcast giving frequent showers, sometimes stormy.

Snow will fall in the morning beyond 700 m in the morning, then from 1000 m in the afternoon.

The accumulations could reach 5 to 10 cm above 800 m, 10 to 20 cm from 1,200 m.

A strong mistral at the start of the day

The northeast wind will reach up to 70 km/h on the eastern coast.

On the border massifs with Italy, the snowfall to the bottom of the valleys will ease in the morning, giving way to sunny spells in the afternoon.

The rest of the PACA region, Languedoc-Roussillon, the Pyrenees chain will benefit from good sunshine even if high clouds will pass from time to time.

The Mistral and the Tramontane will ease at midday, then strengthen again at the end of the day with gusts at 60 and 70 km/h.

The northeast wind will strengthen towards the Var coast with peaks at 60/70 km / h.

Generalized frosts

The sunny spells will be back in the afternoon over Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrénées in the afternoon.

The frosts will be widespread in the interior of the country, generally between 0 and -4 degrees, down to -5 to -8 degrees on the Massif Central and around the Alps, they will remain positive on the coasts, from 1 to 4 on the Channel coasts and the Atlantic coast, from 4 to 7 on the shores of the Mediterranean.

The maximum will be between 3 and 6 degrees, they will reach 9 to 13 towards Brittany and around the big blue.
