“The number of tanks cannot be large, since Finland borders on Russia and is not part of NATO,” he said.

Earlier, Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko called on Western countries to supply thousands of tanks to Kyiv.

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that the Polish side will transfer a company of Leopard tanks to Ukraine.

At the same time, German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht said that Germany had not received requests in connection with Poland's plans to supply Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
